The “Cancel Contract” functionality allows the logical deletion of an individual employment contract from the electronic register. This action should be used exclusively in cases where the contract should not have been registered.

Canceling a contract does not produce legal termination effects and does not replace the legal suspension or termination procedure in any way. It is an administrative measure aimed at correcting input errors, when the contract was added unjustifiably.


When is cancellation allowed:

  • The contract was registered by mistake;

  • It was incorrectly associated with another employee;

  • A duplicate was entered that does not correspond to reality.


It is not intended for:

  • Correcting contractual data (date, position, salary, standard, etc.);

  • Effective termination of an employment relationship;

  • Situations in which the employee has performed activity.

For these cases, the dedicated functionalities will be used: modification or contract termination.


Process steps

1. Select contract

The system displays the first 10 active contracts, in alphabetical order.
To search for a specific contract, it is recommended to complete the available filters: name, surname, CNP, contract number or date.


2. Complete details and confirm

After selecting the contract, it is necessary to complete the following fields:

  • Reason for cancellation – mandatory;

  • Contract number – must be entered for confirmation;

  • Contract conclusion date – can be completed manually or selected from the interactive calendar (available through the 📅 icon in the date field).


Warning

When you press the „Submit” button, the system displays a confirmation message:

Are you sure you want to cancel this contract?
This change is irreversible and cannot be undone later.

After confirmation, the system returns a success message:

Contract no. X dated XX.XX.XXXX has been successfully canceled.


Important observation

Canceling a contract does not mean termination of the employment relationship. This logically removes the contract from the system, without affecting the general status of the employee. If the employee has only one contract, its cancellation may be followed, if applicable, by complete cancellation of the employee (only if there is no other active data).
