Employees / Correction
1. Description of Functionality
The Employee Correction functionality is designed to rectify material errors that occur when initially entering an employee's data.
Unlike Employee Modification, which applies in the event of legislative or administrative changes (e.g., name change after marriage), Correction is used for correcting registration errors.
Examples of situations that require correction:
- Incorrect entry of the name or first name.
- Incorrect selection of citizenship or type of identity document.
- Errors in the date of birth or place of birth.
- Writing errors in the registration of the home address.
2. Accessing the Functionality
To access the Employee Correction menu, follow these steps:
- From the main menu, select Employees.
- Access the sub-menu Correction.
- The employee search screen will open, where you can filter the results by:
- Last name and first name
- CNP/NIF
- Date of birth
- Place of birth
Attention: Only the first 10 records are displayed in alphabetical order. To find other employees, the search function must be used.
3. Steps for Correcting an Employee
Correcting an employee involves the following steps:
3.1. Selecting the Employee
- Identify the employee registered with errors and select them from the list displayed.
- Press "Next" to continue.
3.2. Correcting Employee Data
In the Employee Data section, the following information can be rectified:
- Last name and first name - if they were entered incorrectly initially.
- Citizenship - if an incorrect option was selected.
- Type of identity document - if it was recorded incorrectly.
- Date of birth and place of birth - for rectifying incorrect information.
3.3. Correcting General Data
In the General Data section, the following can be corrected:
- Home address or residence.
- Administrative mentions.
3.4. Summary and Validation
- Before completion, the system will generate a summary of the changes made.
- Carefully check all data before confirming the correction.
4. Confirming Corrections
- After verifying all data, press "Submit" to complete the process.
- The system will display the following confirmation messages:
- "We have submitted the information necessary to correct the employee [TEST TEST]."
- "The correction for employee [TEST TEST] with CNP [1820110413165] was successfully completed!"
5. Special Considerations
- Correction should only be performed for material errors, not for legal changes!
- If information has changed as a result of an official event (e.g., name change after marriage), the Employee Modification option should be used.
- Any correction made must be submitted to the system for validation and processing.
- If additional corrections are required after validation, a new correction can be made by repeating the process.
