Information regarding the processing of personal data by the Labor Inspectorate

The Labor Inspectorate is a Personal Data Operator, registered with the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing under no. 38.

For the implementation of the provisions of European Union Regulation no. 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), we inform you that the processing of personal data is carried out only for legitimate purposes.

Purpose of data processing

The personal data collected is necessary for the Labor Inspectorate in fulfilling its function as a state authority, which ensures the exercise of control in the fields of labor relations, occupational health and safety, and market surveillance in the field of competence.

Types of data collected

Thus, the personal data we process are: identification, financial, demographic data or other data we collect in accordance with the legal provisions in force, from employers, through the Revisal application, for all employees employed with an individual employment contract, as well as for day laborers.

Access of public authorities

In accordance with the provisions of art. 11 para. (1) of Government Decision no. 905/2017 regarding the general register of employees, the Labor Inspectorate ensures the access of public authorities/institutions to the information in the register, based on specific query applications or by providing information from the register, in compliance with personal data protection measures.

Data transmission to authorities

The Labor Inspectorate makes available, under the conditions of the law, your personal data to the courts, criminal investigation bodies, tax authorities, as well as to any institutions/authorities to which the transmission of these data is required by law.

Statistical information, based on the agreement between the Ministry of Labor, Social Solidarity and Family and the National Institute of Statistics.
